ProductseLibraryOur archive system automatically stores published and unpublished articles and photos as well as performing full-text searches using any combination of search criteria. Made for filing large amounts of articles, images and pages. Fast and effective search from standard web clients – to find information, read texts and see when they were published.
The program is part of the Scoop Editorial System, but can be used independently or with other systems. The program has a full text search function, so searches can be made on any word in any text. Compared to other archives, eLibrary is easy to use and demands a minimum of maintenance. SearchWhen a search is started, it is sent to the archive server for
processing. The results are returned as a list in the web client. Search features• PDF Image of entire page displayed where the searched article is
highlighted in red PerformanceWe tested search in a database of 30,000+ articles, where the search took less than one second on a server with a 1.6 GHz P4 processor. Automatic archivingWhen the page editor has finished a Quark or InDesign page daily for
production, eLibrary automatically generates page and article images,
indexes everything accordingly, and adds to the exiting archive. Archiving features• Smart information retrieval. High quality tagging with minimal
manual effort. EditingOnly an authorised editor or system administrator may change or delete articles in the archive. This can be done by deleting complete time intervals, deleting individual articles, or editing article content or the articles category and search tags. Back-up and securityThe automatic backup system in eLibrary is designed for maximum security. A special routine for reconstructing the indexes helps system maintenance. InstallationeLibrary is easy to install. It is highly modular thanks to its web interface, and can be combined with editorial systems of your choice. We offer solutions for migrating your previous archives to Scoop eLibrary. FotoWare integrationAs an option, eLibrary can be ordered with integration to FotoWare Index Manager. Clicking on low-res images in eLibrary archive material, automatically collects the corresponding hi-res image from FotoWare for use in current production. This requires Portal Agent Client from FotoWare. |
