For years, the Scoop Edit article editor and NewsPlanner planning tool have been much reliable core components of Scoop editorial systems. Our new versions of WebEdit and NewsPlanner are web-based. This means much easier installation and maintenance.

Other new features:
- New article format based on XML, accepting Unicode text.
- All articles are based on templates, enabling the reporters to write directly to predefined space on newspaper pages or web publications.
