The newspaper is divided in two editions:
• ”Moj Rajon Moscow” prints 503,000 copies in the Moscow area, in 18 local sub-editions.
• ”Moj Rajon St Peterburg” prints 433,000 copies in the Saint Peterburg area, in 14 local editions.

The newspaper was founded in St Petersburg in 2002, and the edition in Moscow was founded in 2006.
Moi Rayon has become the most read newspaper in Saint Petersburg.

Scoop installation

In late 2007, the Scoop publishing system was installed and launced at ”Moj Rajon Moscow”. In early 2008 ”Moj Rajon St Peterburg” launched the Scoop publishing system. Att installations were made by our distributor NBZ Computers.
The sytem is based on the Scoop-in-a-Box package, including Scoop Edit with Adobe InCopy integration, WebEdit, PageTrack, eLibrary and ePaper. The database is based on PostgreSQL. The reporters and page editors use Windows.
